Michael Stuart - CAPP

 

Mike joined the firm in 1994 after 13 years in practice in Hamilton with Ernst & Young.

His experience included serving on a range of small to medium sized businesses, audit (both in NZ and UK), lecturing in accounting and commercial experience until 1985 when he began to specialise in management consulting. His involvement in management consulting coincided with major Government reform and much of his consulting work revolved around this public sector reform and includes two years in Bahrain.

Mike headed the consulting division for Ernst & Young Hamilton and was the head of the Ernst & Young National Team of Local Government Consultants.

He is currently the partner responsible for Audit assignments and specialises in family trusts and taxation.
Mike is on the advisory board to the Acorn Foundation.

Mike is married to Cath with 3 adult sons which obviously involves an interest in rugby.He has a keen interest in fishing, diving and boating.

Rex Harding - CAPP B.Com

 

Educated at Otago University Rex had several years learning the industry and then joined Ingham Mora in August 1989 from Coppers and Lybrand. Rex has been at the Mount Maunganui office ever since. Rex is our longest serving Director.

Rex is now principal responsible for the business service function of that office specialising in 'trouble shooting', internal management and accounting system problems. Accordingly, his experience includes computer support to various small to medium businesses. Rex specialises in business management helping privately owned firms find growth, good systems and financial security.

Rex has a passion for his community and has been energetically supportive and actively involved in Surf Life Saving,
Rowing and Rugby for many years.

Rhonda Thomas - CAPP

 

Rhonda joined the firm in 1986 after working in chartered accountancy and industry in Auckland. Rhonda remained with Ingham Mora until 1990 when she left to join a family business involved with the post-harvest sector of the kiwifruit industry. During the following 9 years Rhonda developed her expertise in Horticultural Management Accounting and is still actively involved in the industry.

In 1999 Rhonda returned to Ingham Mora as a Business Services Manager and joined the practice as a Director in 2001.

Rhonda now manages a Business Services client base with expertise in horticulture, manufacturing and retail sectors.

Rhonda has two teenage boys and is actively involved with the Western Bay of Plenty Life Education Trust and Creative Tauranga.

Neil Fullerton – CAPP

 

Neil joined the firm in 1990 and became a Director on 1 January 2003. His earlier experience was with chartered accounting firms in both Otaki and Palmerston North.

Neil is a Business Advisory Services principal servicing many small to medium size businesses as well as a number of schools. He specialises in providing support and advice with computer systems and management reporting.

Married to Wendy with three boys, Neil is actively involved in Western Bay of Plenty Basketball, Welcome Bay Rugby Club, Prolink (Property Networking Group), Selwyn Ridge Primary BOT, City Life Church, Welcome Bay Tennis Club, Greerton Athletics Club.

Karen Campbell – CAPP BMS

 

Karen began her Chartered Accounting career as a graduate for Coopers & Lybrand, Auckland, in 1990. Initially in the audit division Karen transferred to the tax division in 1991 where she was involved in the provision of tax compliance and consultancy services for a range of medium to large corporate clients. Working in both the Auckland and Wellington offices during this time, Karen gained an in-depth knowledge of the New Zealand tax system.
In 1996 Karen traveled to Europe where she worked on a number of contract roles in the banking industry. On return to New Zealand Karen became Financial Controller for a large New Zealand transport operator before moving to Tauranga to join Ingham Mora in 2000.

Karen is predominantly involved in business compliance work for a broad range of small to medium sized enterprises. Karen is a specialist tax consultancy and also undertakes business and share valuation work. Karen became a Director in January 2005.

Karen is married to Bob with two young children and is a Trustee on Waipuna Hospice and actively supports the Homes of Hope Trust.

Graeme Ingham – CAPP - Consultant

 

Graeme commenced practice in 1965 as a founder partner of the firm, Lellman Ingham & Hooker, and in 1984 joined the New Zealand practice of Ernst & Whinney. His earlier professional experience was in the lending division of the Bank of New Zealand in Wellington and Fiji.

Graeme has had extensive experience in general financial and management services for small to medium sized businesses. He also specialises in insolvency assignments and has special skills and knowledge of a number of industries including fishing, private hospitals and horticulture.

Graeme has also done considerable work with Maori, particularly in the management of fishing resources, the acquisition of Matakana Island forestry assets for the Matakana Island Trust and Te Kotukutuku Corporation Limited, and investigation of projects for Ngaiterangi Iwi.

Married to Margaret with 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren, Graeme changed his status from a partner to an associate in 2006 enabling Graeme the time to pursue new activities and his other passion in life – fishing and golf.

Richard Glubb CA

After working as a sole practitioner Richard joined Ingham Mora in 2003. Richard’s proven and established reputation within the industry was recognised by the firm when in 2008 Richard was made an Associate.

Richard has done contract work for various companies including the Daily Mirror, Guinness Breweries and DHL during his three -year stint in London.

Having grown up on a kiwifruit orchard Richard has a particular interest working with clients in the horticulture sector. He looks after a wide variety of small/medium sized business’s and is particularly helpful if someone is starting out in business. Richard works to ensure new business’s get off to a good start by putting the right structures and systems in place before they kick off."

Married to Susan with three young children, Richard enjoys relaxing with his young family.

Specialist Audit Team

The practice has a specialist audit division offering a wide range of audit services to a varied range of clients. The audit division has a wide range of experience including horticulture and rural based activities, manufacturing, processing, service industries and finance.

The team is lead by Richard Dey and ably supported by Philip Mead.

Richard Dey – BMS CA - Director

 

Richard joined Ingham Mora in 2008 as an Associate in the audit team and became a Director in 2009. With 15 years experience in New Zealand and overseas in audit and accounting, Richard’s experience includes 5 years auditing with KPMG. Prior to joining the firm, Richard was the Financial Controller with a significant kiwifruit post harvest operator for 7 years.

Richard is heavily involved in the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is currently a national Councillor, representing the Waikato/Bay of Plenty region, and a member of the national Primary Sector Committee. He also facilitates Professional Accounting School workshops for the Institute and is an exam marker.

Richard is married to Jo with 2 children and is  a keen sportsman currently coaching cricket and hockey teams.

Philip Mead - CA B.Com - Associate

 

Philip began his chartered accounting career with the audit division of Ernst & Whinney, Christchurch in 1973. He subsequently had four years with Ernst & Whinney, Adelaide before returning to the Christchurch office and in 1984 transferring to the Tauranga office.

Philip’s experience has been largely in audit but he also has considerable insolvency and business services experience. He is an associate of the firm responsible for managing the firm’s audit practice. Philip has now accumulated 33 years of audit experience.

Philip is married to Wendy and is kept busy outside of work with family, their lifestyle property and sport.
